French-born, Glasgow-based interdisciplinary and multilingual writer and cook
I’m the author of two novels: Breaststrokes (May 2024) and The Yellow Kitchen (July 2022). My short story, Fernanda’s Fish Soup, was runner-up in the 2022 Harper’s Bazaar short story competition. I also write The Onion Papers, a newsletter on storytelling in the kitchen. Most of my work evolves around the landscapes of remembrance as well as food and seasonality as communal experiences, and I explore how these topics interplay with language and bodies.
I’ve a background in Comparative Literature and worked as a Translation Rights Agent for a London-based literary agency for eight years. I’ve given lectures, joined discussions and moderated panels on the topics of literature, translation, writing and food, and I co-host the SPK podcast and book club.
